Alms Ceremony
Every morning monks of all ages gather at Angkor Wat, Cambodia, with their silver alms bowls, to collect food and cash offerings from local devotees.
There are about 60,000 monks in Cambodia today. Young men are encouraged to spend at least a year in the monkhood.
